Trichur Sundaram Santhanam & Family Private Limited formerly known as TV Sundaram Iyengar and Sons Private Limited established a Vehicle Dealership in Chennai for handling Cars and Commercial Vehicles and thus SUNDARAM MOTORS was born on August 13, 1945, to provide for rapid expansion in the business activities.

Sundaram Motors are also distributors for the products of Premier Ancillary Manufactures whose products are fitted as original equipment by the vehicle manufacturers. These distribution centres are located in several cities and towns in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Maharashtra, West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Orissa and Assam.
